Here is Nikolay’s message about this program that we share with you:

"For this program, I have selected piano pieces that are universally cherished and admired by music lovers. I will begin my recital with Chopin's exquisite Nocturne in D-flat major, followed by his Prelude op. 45, a work Chopin himself regarded as one of his greatest achievements.

We will then be immersed in the passionate, profoundly moving realms of Chopin's Ballade No. 4, a piece full of suffering and deep emotions.

Our musical journey will continue with the works of Franz Liszt, beginning with his graceful Valse-impromptu, followed by the brilliant Spanish Rhapsody, which is based on enchanting Spanish motifs.

The second part of my recital will be devoted to the genius of Ludwig van Beethoven. I will present Liszt’s masterful transcription of Beethoven's Allegretto from the 7th Symphony, setting the stage for the ultimate piece of the night—Beethoven's Appassionata.

This piece overwhelms with its power and emotion; we are completely transformed and taken to a different universe. I see the whole of life in front of my eyes while playing this amazing sonata.”
